2022 HALLOWEEN CLEAN-UP
Thank you to the DCHS and OES students who cleaned up 24 yards at the 2022 Halloween Clean-Up -- and to their sponsors Mr. Bricker, Mr. Williams, Mr. Kyle Breth, Mrs. Springer and Mr. Tim Breth.
Thank you also to Nolan Wasson, Tom Wasson, Dan Morford, and Monte Moore for the use of their trucks and for hauling students from house to house.
Thank you to the City of Oberlin for the hotdogs and apples and to the Booster Club and the Lions Club for grilling and serving the hotdogs.
Finally, thank you to five seniors who organized and led the annual clean-up and who kept our annual tradition going strong: Josh Juenemann, Bryant Addleman, Ellie Anderson, Teague Morford, and Olivia Williby. The teachers chose the five seniors, and the student body chose Josh as the general.
The freshmen will get donuts from Mr. Holloway for having the highest participation with 72.2 percent of the class helping out. The sophomores were right behind with 70.8 percent participation.
The juniors were next with 52.4 percent, and the 7th and 8th graders tied with 51.9 percent. The seniors had 47.4 percent participation.
For 98 years, DCHS students and teachers have kept this incredible service project going.
