"Seussical the Musical" is Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 2:00. This is an incredible show you won't want to miss.
“Seussical” incorporates many of Dr. Seuss’s characters and stories, including The Cat in the Hat and Horton Hears a Who.
The Cat in the Hat (played by Bryant Addleman) guides us into The Jungle of Nool where Horton, the kind-hearted elephant (played by Weston Barnes), discovers a speck of dust that contains the Whos of Whoville – including JoJo (played by 7th grader Ella Williby), who “thinks too many thinks.”
Horton decides he must protect the speck of dust on a nearby clover, while at the same time protect an abandoned egg left to his care by Mayzie La Bird (played by Olivia Williby).
Horton tries to convince the other animals in The Jungle, led by Sour Kangaroo (played by Avery Witt), of the existence of the Whos, but he is ridiculed. Only his loyal neighbor, Gertrude McFuzz, (played by Emma Holloway) believes him.
